1Jn 5:14........ "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."

New Alliance-ALM Women

Hello ladies, First let me say, I apologize for the late followup and will be more timely going forward.  I had an awesome time with you all Tuesday at our meeting. My most favorite part was the prayer. There is just something about being on one accord in prayer that moves the hand and heart of God. I am looking forward for every opportunity to spend time with you all as we grow together. I am holding fast to the promises of God for every petition that was offered to God in prayer, as I know you all are as well. There is growth taking place, and an unmoveable alliance being formed.  So we know this, but it's worth repeating; when a child grows,  they change in size, appearance, and ability. With this growth we are encountering, there will come more accountability and responsibility. This is what we want to bring to ourselves and to each other. So as we continue with our corporate fast, remain prayerful that we see, hear, and speak what is edifying and pleasing before God. Pray together whenever possible, but always pray for each other. Many of you were at the meeting, so this is just a recap of what we discussed, voted on, and are planning. This is not in any order of priority except where a date is listed. 1) We have been asked to help raise a love offering to bless Pastor Chris on his birthday which is September 3. We are asking everyone who can and will to donate $20 by Wednesday, August 29. This is totally voluntary, but we pray each will participate. 2) We discussed all the annual events for 2013, and what the women ministries involvement will be for each. Discussions will continue next month. 3)  Open for discussion is a fall festival to be held the 2nd Saturday in September. This will be open to the public, and will also be a fundraiser.  4) Meeting locations and fellowship. Some recommendations were: bowling alley, dinner and shopping, and at each others home. 5) Fund raising/ training ideas-(workshops, life skills training) 6) Discussed possible Music extravaganza 7) Christmas parade/float Each of the remaining listed items we agreed upon by those in attendance. Discussion will be ongoing and again participation is voluntary.  Monthly love token =$5.00 due at each monthly meeting Envelopes for pastors appreciation $$$$ per member by June 2013. Envelopes for associate pastors appreciation $$$$per member by ???? 2013. House to House and gift exchange to  continue in December 2013. As you all can see, I am missing a lot of email addresses, so if you can help with any of those missing, please forward to charlotteyoung29@yahoo.com I probably missed something but as I said several times, discussions will be ongoing.  Next meeting is Tuesday, September 11, 6:30 pm at ALM. Love you all, and welcome feedback. Much Love, Charlotte

When We All Get Together

Hi ladies, Just thinking back on our recent group event. It was an awesome time. Just let me say, thank you for all the time, money, planning and implementing everyone contributed to this awesome event. If any element of the process had been eliminated, it would not have been complete, nor a success. You ladies are the best. Let's build on what we have begun. Together we can reach those that are lost. Much love, Charlotte

Renovation in Progress Thanks be to God for caring enough for us not to leave us in ruins. As He told us today, He will tear us down to rebuild. All He (the Master Renovator) needs is a permit. Until we issue the permit, we will not receive the certificate of occupancy. At this point, God is satisfied with the finished product and declares that we are ready to house Him. That is so exciting to me. Let the building begin!!!!!

Rainbow Tea.

Hello all,

First let me say thanks to all who helped to make the bazaar a success. I will say, we all had an awesome time of fellowship, and hopefully everyone made a little extra money. This was another one of those times where the ALM family pulled together and made things happen fast. Again, thanks to all.

Now we move on to the next event, which is the "Rainbow Tea". Many of you have heard about this event scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 1pm at Abundant Life Ministries. Let me share a little more details about what we have done, what we are doing, and what your role is in preparing for the event.

It is called a rainbow tea because the colors are all from the rainbow. We have 7 teams who will be responsible for decorating in their chosen color. Colors and team members were chosen randomly by drawing names from a basket. This will allow us to work with other church members different from the ones we usually choose to be teamed with.

Each team will have 4 tables and prepare food for their tables corresponding with the color as closely as possible. Team captains have 8 members and 24 -27 total tickets to sell by the team. The tickets sell for $10. Equally divided, each member will sell a maximum of 3 tickets. Team captains should have communicated with their team members, if only to let them know that they are on their team. Meetings with team members will be scheduled periodically with the team captain to develop a theme, and plan of action. Please prepare yourself to offer ideas and support your team.

Let's pull together again and make this a successful event.

Much Love

Community Bazaar

Hello Everyone,

We are almost there! Saturday, March 24, we will be hosting a community Bazaar. This is that opportunity for multiple vendors in the community to come together in one location and setup booths. You may promote your business, introduce a new business, or do a little spring cleaning. Whatever you have decided, I hope everyone have been spreading the word. To recap: Spots are available for $25 flat fee. Each renter is responsible for setup and breakdown of his or her area. The event will be held at Abundant Life Ministries, 890 Highway 19 North and begin at 7:00 am continuing until 2:00 pm. There will be food, household items, tools, electronics, and plenty additional items to choose from. To secure a spot, you may contact Charlotte at charlotteyoung29@yahoo.com or 386-937-0703. Another option is to stop by Abundant Life Minsitries office during these hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. to pay for and secure a spot. We are looking forward to a big turnout.

Being the Church

Hey y'all,

Are we ready to be the church? Wow, as we listen to the messages God sends through our pastors and revisit his word, we find out how God really wants His church to be. Did you make time to read and answer the questions this week? Great! Meet us at the life Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. Read 2 Timothy 3:1-9 for sure. We have a lot of questions and discussion for that passage. Visit abundantlifepalatka.com daily to get all the latest ministry information. Our main goal and purpose is to spread and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Together we can and Together we will.

Much Love,
Charlotte

To all the women near and far, wishing you the happiest "Valentine Day" ever. Married women, as always, take this day as another opportunity to show love for and be loved by your spouse. He is worth it, and I know it will add the finishing touches to his day to hear "I Love You". As stated in a message received several days ago which included a quote that said: "What we are familiar with we cease to see." The message went on to say: Let's erase the slate of what we think we figured out, and meet/explore our husbands all over again. It's ok to begin today, and I know it will be an exciting journey!!! Those preparing for marriage, continually prepare yourself. Leave none of the important things to chance, but seek to know your husband-to-be. Let love go beyond "he so fine"-lol. Really, enjoy your day with each other, as you prepare for a lifetime together. To those who are happy being their own valentine, Yeah :)-- you treat, and love yourself, but don't forget to share love with those who love you. You are all so very special and much loved.

Blessings!

Hello Ladies,

First, let me say how wonderful it was to have so many of the ALM women come together for this years house-to-house. You showed up with friends, a spirit and an attitude that created a recipe for fun. It's this type of event and fellowship that builds relationships. We will continue to move forward.

What a wonderful time of year for reflection, family, relationship and new birth. This is the time we celebrate the greatest birth of all-JESUS. As you mothers know, the birth of a child is an awesome experience in itself, but to give birth to the Son of God-Wow!!! God could have redeemed us in any number of ways, but He chose the family scene. This truly shows how much it means to Him that we love, share, and join with one another. A body is one, but consist of many parts. So, a family cannot exist without a connection of individuals. Every moment that we love and share is an opportunity to show Jesus to the world.

As we move into a new calendar year, let's remember yesterday, live today, and prepare for tomorrow. I'm reminded of a song which simply said: "Stand up and be a witness." I believe that the Lord loves it when we boldly represents Him. So get ready to end 2011 with praise and enter 2012 with more praise. We will "shout with a voice of triumph."

Much love,

Ladies of TD Nation,

The date is just around the corner for our annual House-to-House Christmas celebration. We will meet at the church at 6:30, Friday, December 16. We have 4 houses to be visited this year. In past years, we would return to the church for gift exchange and warm seasonal drinks i.e. coffee, tea, apple cider, etc. This year the 4th house will host the gift exchange and drinks. Come prepared to have a great time of fellowship with each other as we celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. So grab a friend, and join the caravan. Hope to see you all there.

Much Love,

Hi everyone,

I pray everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving holiday. This is that time of year when we spend time with family and reflect on the many things we are thankful for in our lives. I truly enjoyed a great day with my family and some friends. Now we begin to move forward to the "Christ"mas celebration giving thanks for having Christ in our lives. One of the things we like to do is gather for an evening of food, fun and fellowship. Yes, it is time for our "House-to-House women ministry night. This year we decided to have 4 houses instead of 3. In past years, we would meet back at the church for our gift exchange, but decided to do the exchange at the fourth house. The date selected is December 16, which is just shy of 3 weeks from today. We need to confirm 3 of the 4 houses. I encourage some of our new women to consider being a host this year. While considering whether or not you wish to host, here are a few things to keep in mind.

Anywhere from 20-40 attending (we will confirm the total expected with a signup).
You do not have to prepare alone (you can if you want to).
Caroling in neighborhood of one of the houses
Gift exchange (under $15)

House #1 - light finger foods
House #2 - entree
House #3 - dessert
House #4 - gift exchange (tea, coffee, cappachina, etc.)

I'm excited, and hope to have more than enough volunteers. Just text me if interested, and I will followup. :)

Much love,
Charlotte

TD Women,

Wednesday night's prayer and intercession was awesome and powerful. During that time, God reminded me that we have not because we ask not, and when we do ask we ask in the wrong way or for the wrong things. We must believe what we say.

Then of course, Sunday morning we were reminded not to be double minded. We cannot have two ways of thinking, and expect to recieve what God has promised. Double minded thinking causes us to be wavery and that is not a stable place to be. Imagine a boat without a sail on the high seas. It just does it's on thing. There is no direction, no set destination and will oftentimes end up in destructive situations. When we allow ouselves to be tossed to and fro, one day we can conquer all, then the next we are not sure if we can make it through the day. We are to be totally devoted, committed, and sold out to God. We are to be steadfast and unmovable. Let's continue to seek wisdom and strive for perfection in our devotion to God. In doing so, not only will we be streghtened and grow, but we will take others with us.

Lord teach us how to be more like you. Help us to recognize where we are and make the changes necessary to seperate from those things that do not bring glory to your name. In Jesus name.

October 31, 2011

Hello Women of TD Nation,

It was awesome to spend an afternnon with all of you during our recent meeting. For those of you who missed it, don't be dismayed, there will be more. One particular item mentioned was October being Pastor's appreciation month. In honor of our senior and associate pastors, it was recommended and agreed upon that each of us write a hand-written note or pick up a card just to say how Pastor's leadership has blessed. Feel free to, if you would like, to bless beyond the card or note. Lol. I know we missed the October deadline, but plan to deliver the notes and cards on Wednesday. You can give them to me, Virginia, Lynn, or Kerrie. Other items discussed were:
1)Tee shirts for Christmas parade-November 26, and creation of our church float.
2) house to house-December
3) bazaar (group yard sale)- March
4) rainbow tea/Mother's day- May
5) Father's day- June
6) Pastor's Appreciation - July
That's half the year covered, and as you can see, there is a lot to do. We will meet again really soon, so plan to put it on your calendars for participation. There is much more to come, so check for updates weekly on what's next. As always, remember that together we can accomplish so much more than going it alone. Don't forget your cards on Wednesday.

Much love

Have you ever had that person in your life that you offer love and more love and more love, but he or she continually show themself unlovable? Well, I have good news. You are not alone. I am fortunate to say that God has allowed me to experience this behavior at many levels in my life. I'm sure there are millions that can say the same. The one thing that I have found is that God can and will take an unbalanced situation and balance it. The scenerio that was released in my spirit is this.

Imagine a person on a tight rope, with equal weight on each side, but the weight on one side begin to slide more to one or the other side. This certainly will throw the balance off causing the person on the rope to wobble and even sometimes fall, but GOD. Imagine His presence on the scene in that same scenerio. As the weight begin to shift to the right, He adds what's needed to the left to reestablish the balance. He does not always prevent the imbalance, but rest assured He will reestablish it.

So it is with love. When we feel that we have done all we can, given as much as is deserved, yet still feel pulled to the left or right, God requires us to step outside of ourselves and give more of only what He has provided-"Unconditional Love". God rewards all things when done to bring glory to his name. He says: "all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose." My dad use to always say "Charity (Love) begins at home and then spreads abroad". Over the years as I have grown, this statement has burst open with such revelation.

Lord, as we grow in love, let it be manifested at home, with our spouse, parents, childen and siblings. Then, let us take that same love into the hedges and highways, chuches, schools, and organizations so that you will be glorified in us and through us.

Be encouraged, hold fast and most of all Love.

Hi Women of TD Nation,

This season of learning how to love like God loves is a perfect opportunity for us to express that love towards one another. Although anytime is a good time for expressions of love, during this time as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection is extra-ordinarily special.
We are planning a springtime house to house gathering and will be visiting three different homes in one evening. At the 1st house, we will share light finger foods. At our second house we will have a main course (heavier finger foods). The 3rd house will serve desserts. At each stop, we will take time to enjoy each others company and have some fun. Who knows, we may do a little hunting. This will also be a good time for brain-storming for future events. Put your thinking caps on and bring your ideas.
So put it on your calendar-Friday April 22, 2011. We will meet at ALM, and caravan to the perspective houses. To all those that's always there, we look forward to a great time as always. To you who have not experienced this awesome style of fellowship, we encourage you all to join us. I promise you will get to know things about those you fellowship with every week, that is not revealed in our Sunday morning/Wednesday night meetings. Let's pack the houses and make this the biggest we have ever had.

We will love like Jesus loves!

TD Nation Women:

Isn't it so amazing how opposite our natural and spiritual concepts and needs are! I am reminded of the revelation God released during Eves of Glory. As testimonies began to unfold regarding needs, desires, where I am, and where I am going, God resurrected this divine revelation--You must die. Naturally, we do all that we can to live. We are timely with our checkups, take our medications when prescribed, Eat to stay stong, drink to stay hydrated-you get the picture. Spiritually, God just wants this body to die to all the desires of our senses. The example that came forth was when we continue to beat with our old heartbeat, oftentimes the rythmn is uneven. There are high lines and low lines. There are skipped beats and double beats. But in extreme circumstances, there comes a time when it stops. In the natural world this is called flatline. When we flatline, we no longer have the ability to respond or react on our own, and need assistance. Naturally, the doctors call for code red and bring out the shock treatment. Spirually, God just smiles and say: now I can breathe my life into you. During our Praise and Worship service the following morning, our senior Pastor spoke these words: We must die. I heard it again-spiritual flatline. There doesn't seem to be a problem with us excepting the natural death as inevitable, but we must realize that to be ready for the natural, we must experience the spiritual aspects of dying to ourselves. May God remove life as we know it, to be replaced with His design and purpose. In doing so, we will live more abundantly now and be ready for the new life to come.
Hello Ladies,

I am compelled to encourage you to be free to Love. As stated in 1 Peter 4:8 "Love covers a multitude of sin and fault." Let's take time today to show a special act of love to our spouse, child, parent, friend, or even a stanger. It is what God has called and equipped us to do. Continue to pray one for another, and don't forget corporate prayer at the Life, Saturday's at 6:00 pm.

Enjoy this love letter from our King who is Love.

I have set you free to love others, so don't let people who have caused you pain paralyze you from experiencing the joys of love. I know there is always a risk when you give a piece of your heart away, but I've created you to enjoy the gift of special friendships. Choose wisely the ones that you invest your time and energy in, and also give those you love the freedom to fail. Remember that no one will love you as perfectly as I do. If you let Me take the disappointments that come with relationships, you will be free to give and receive love unconditionally. Remember, most people need love the most when they deserve it the least.

Have a blessed and properous week.
Ladies,

There is so much to be done and so little time or resources for doing it-isn't that the story of our lives? Well, with all of those things still going on, here is a short update regarding what's new with ALM women ministry. We have begun to seriously build strong relationships. I pray that each woman who is a member of The Life has been contacted. If not, do not lose hope because you will be. If you have or have not received a call or visit, take A step and reach out to someone else. Our goal is to first build a network from in-house that will move beyond the walls of our building. As you freely receive, freely share with others love, support, prayer, and of course, resources. It's contagious, and it will come back to you.

As always, everyone is invited to join our intercessory prayer group every Saturday evening, 6:00 pm at The Life.

Women ministry meetings, Fellowship and fundraising ideas are forthcoming SOON!!, so get ready-get ready- get ready!!!

August 11, 2010

Hi Ladies,

Let us focus on Praying With Power. God has given it (power) to us, and it works really well when we use it properly. Ephesians 6:18 says: "Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayer for all christians," and don't forget the lost. Enjoy this love letter from our King.

My powerful princess, do not waste your walk through life today. Open your spiritual eyes. Prayer is needed everywhere. Anywhere you walk today I can and will order your steps, if you will let Me. Pray while you're driving, while you're cooking, while you're doing laundry and runing errands. Of all the weapons in the world, prayer is your most powerful resource. Don't let the day begin or end without letting your prayers to Me pave the way in all you do. Wherever you go, remember that part of your royal privilege is raising your voice to heaven. So hold on to the promises that are yours and pray!

Love,

Your King and Intercessor.
