Hello Ladies,
First, let me say how wonderful it was to have so many of the ALM women come together for this years house-to-house. You showed up with friends, a spirit and an attitude that created a recipe for fun. It's this type of event and fellowship that builds relationships. We will continue to move forward.
What a wonderful time of year for reflection, family, relationship and new birth. This is the time we celebrate the greatest birth of all-JESUS. As you mothers know, the birth of a child is an awesome experience in itself, but to give birth to the Son of God-Wow!!! God could have redeemed us in any number of ways, but He chose the family scene. This truly shows how much it means to Him that we love, share, and join with one another. A body is one, but consist of many parts. So, a family cannot exist without a connection of individuals. Every moment that we love and share is an opportunity to show Jesus to the world.
As we move into a new calendar year, let's remember yesterday, live today, and prepare for tomorrow. I'm reminded of a song which simply said: "Stand up and be a witness." I believe that the Lord loves it when we boldly represents Him. So get ready to end 2011 with praise and enter 2012 with more praise. We will "shout with a voice of triumph."
Much love,
Welcome Ladies
What's Going On!!

Ladies of TD Nation,
The date is just around the corner for our annual House-to-House Christmas celebration. We will meet at the church at 6:30, Friday, December 16. We have 4 houses to be visited this year. In past years, we would return to the church for gift exchange and warm seasonal drinks i.e. coffee, tea, apple cider, etc. This year the 4th house will host the gift exchange and drinks. Come prepared to have a great time of fellowship with each other as we celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. So grab a friend, and join the caravan. Hope to see you all there.
Much Love,

Hi everyone,
I pray everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving holiday. This is that time of year when we spend time with family and reflect on the many things we are thankful for in our lives. I truly enjoyed a great day with my family and some friends. Now we begin to move forward to the "Christ"mas celebration giving thanks for having Christ in our lives. One of the things we like to do is gather for an evening of food, fun and fellowship. Yes, it is time for our "House-to-House women ministry night. This year we decided to have 4 houses instead of 3. In past years, we would meet back at the church for our gift exchange, but decided to do the exchange at the fourth house. The date selected is December 16, which is just shy of 3 weeks from today. We need to confirm 3 of the 4 houses. I encourage some of our new women to consider being a host this year. While considering whether or not you wish to host, here are a few things to keep in mind.
Anywhere from 20-40 attending (we will confirm the total expected with a signup).
You do not have to prepare alone (you can if you want to).
Caroling in neighborhood of one of the houses
Gift exchange (under $15)
House #1 - light finger foods
House #2 - entree
House #3 - dessert
House #4 - gift exchange (tea, coffee, cappachina, etc.)
I'm excited, and hope to have more than enough volunteers. Just text me if interested, and I will followup. :)
Much love,
Charlotte

TD Women,
Wednesday night's prayer and intercession was awesome and powerful. During that time, God reminded me that we have not because we ask not, and when we do ask we ask in the wrong way or for the wrong things. We must believe what we say.
Then of course, Sunday morning we were reminded not to be double minded. We cannot have two ways of thinking, and expect to recieve what God has promised. Double minded thinking causes us to be wavery and that is not a stable place to be. Imagine a boat without a sail on the high seas. It just does it's on thing. There is no direction, no set destination and will oftentimes end up in destructive situations. When we allow ouselves to be tossed to and fro, one day we can conquer all, then the next we are not sure if we can make it through the day. We are to be totally devoted, committed, and sold out to God. We are to be steadfast and unmovable. Let's continue to seek wisdom and strive for perfection in our devotion to God. In doing so, not only will we be streghtened and grow, but we will take others with us.
Lord teach us how to be more like you. Help us to recognize where we are and make the changes necessary to seperate from those things that do not bring glory to your name. In Jesus name.

Hello Women of TD Nation,
It was awesome to spend an afternnon with all of you during our recent meeting. For those of you who missed it, don't be dismayed, there will be more. One particular item mentioned was October being Pastor's appreciation month. In honor of our senior and associate pastors, it was recommended and agreed upon that each of us write a hand-written note or pick up a card just to say how Pastor's leadership has blessed. Feel free to, if you would like, to bless beyond the card or note. Lol. I know we missed the October deadline, but plan to deliver the notes and cards on Wednesday. You can give them to me, Virginia, Lynn, or Kerrie. Other items discussed were:
1)Tee shirts for Christmas parade-November 26, and creation of our church float.
2) house to house-December
3) bazaar (group yard sale)- March
4) rainbow tea/Mother's day- May
5) Father's day- June
6) Pastor's Appreciation - July
That's half the year covered, and as you can see, there is a lot to do. We will meet again really soon, so plan to put it on your calendars for participation. There is much more to come, so check for updates weekly on what's next. As always, remember that together we can accomplish so much more than going it alone. Don't forget your cards on Wednesday.
Much love

Have you ever had that person in your life that you offer love and more love and more love, but he or she continually show themself unlovable? Well, I have good news. You are not alone. I am fortunate to say that God has allowed me to experience this behavior at many levels in my life. I'm sure there are millions that can say the same. The one thing that I have found is that God can and will take an unbalanced situation and balance it. The scenerio that was released in my spirit is this.
Imagine a person on a tight rope, with equal weight on each side, but the weight on one side begin to slide more to one or the other side. This certainly will throw the balance off causing the person on the rope to wobble and even sometimes fall, but GOD. Imagine His presence on the scene in that same scenerio. As the weight begin to shift to the right, He adds what's needed to the left to reestablish the balance. He does not always prevent the imbalance, but rest assured He will reestablish it.
So it is with love. When we feel that we have done all we can, given as much as is deserved, yet still feel pulled to the left or right, God requires us to step outside of ourselves and give more of only what He has provided-"Unconditional Love". God rewards all things when done to bring glory to his name. He says: "all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose." My dad use to always say "Charity (Love) begins at home and then spreads abroad". Over the years as I have grown, this statement has burst open with such revelation.
Lord, as we grow in love, let it be manifested at home, with our spouse, parents, childen and siblings. Then, let us take that same love into the hedges and highways, chuches, schools, and organizations so that you will be glorified in us and through us.
Be encouraged, hold fast and most of all Love.

Hi Women of TD Nation,
This season of learning how to love like God loves is a perfect opportunity for us to express that love towards one another. Although anytime is a good time for expressions of love, during this time as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection is extra-ordinarily special.
We are planning a springtime house to house gathering and will be visiting three different homes in one evening. At the 1st house, we will share light finger foods. At our second house we will have a main course (heavier finger foods). The 3rd house will serve desserts. At each stop, we will take time to enjoy each others company and have some fun. Who knows, we may do a little hunting. This will also be a good time for brain-storming for future events. Put your thinking caps on and bring your ideas.
So put it on your calendar-Friday April 22, 2011. We will meet at ALM, and caravan to the perspective houses. To all those that's always there, we look forward to a great time as always. To you who have not experienced this awesome style of fellowship, we encourage you all to join us. I promise you will get to know things about those you fellowship with every week, that is not revealed in our Sunday morning/Wednesday night meetings. Let's pack the houses and make this the biggest we have ever had.

TD Nation Women:
Isn't it so amazing how opposite our natural and spiritual concepts and needs are! I am reminded of the revelation God released during Eves of Glory. As testimonies began to unfold regarding needs, desires, where I am, and where I am going, God resurrected this divine revelation--You must die. Naturally, we do all that we can to live. We are timely with our checkups, take our medications when prescribed, Eat to stay stong, drink to stay hydrated-you get the picture. Spiritually, God just wants this body to die to all the desires of our senses. The example that came forth was when we continue to beat with our old heartbeat, oftentimes the rythmn is uneven. There are high lines and low lines. There are skipped beats and double beats. But in extreme circumstances, there comes a time when it stops. In the natural world this is called flatline. When we flatline, we no longer have the ability to respond or react on our own, and need assistance. Naturally, the doctors call for code red and bring out the shock treatment. Spirually, God just smiles and say: now I can breathe my life into you. During our Praise and Worship service the following morning, our senior Pastor spoke these words: We must die. I heard it again-spiritual flatline. There doesn't seem to be a problem with us excepting the natural death as inevitable, but we must realize that to be ready for the natural, we must experience the spiritual aspects of dying to ourselves. May God remove life as we know it, to be replaced with His design and purpose. In doing so, we will live more abundantly now and be ready for the new life to come.
